Here are some common questions we receive from our guests.
Q: If I book a Dome, do I get access to the pool?
A: Access to the pool is NOT included with a Dome rental. However you can rent the pool privately during your stay. If you would like to rent the pool during your stay, we recommend renting the pool at the same time you book your Dome. The pool is available to rent by anyone, not just Dome guests and it gets booked up very quickly over the summer months.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Unfortunately, we are no longer accepting pets.
Q: Can I have a party or gathering in my Dome?
A: No. We want to ensure that every guest has a peaceful and quiet experience. If you would like to have an event, consider booking the pool area on an hourly basis. You would have access to the pool, pool house, outdoor kitchen and firepit.
Q: Can we have a fire at the Dome?
A: No open fires allowed. However, each Dome is equipped with an outdoor fire table.
Q: Can I book a Dome in the winter?
A: Absolutely! Each dome is insulated with spray foam insulation and the panorama window and skylights are double pane glass. We heat the Domes with heat pumps and a gas burning fireplace so you will stay toasty warm no matter the weather. For the true outdoor people, there is an outdoor fire table available on your deck all year long.
Q: What is your cancellation policy if we rent the pool?
A: You can cancel your pool rental within 72 hours of the booking date and receive a refund of your deposit minus a $25 administration fee
Q: Is the pool heated?
A: Yes, the pool is heated to 84 degrees
Q: Can I have more than 20 people for a pool rental?
A: It is possible but additional costs apply. Please contact us to discuss.
Q: What time of year is the pool open for rentals?
A: Our pool is typically open from May to September
Q: Are your Domes child friendly?
A: Our Domes are suitable for ages 5 to 100. The Domes are not child proofed so there could be safety concerns for children under 5.
Q: Are your Domes wheelchair accessible?
A: No
Q: What is your Dome cancellation policy?
A: 50% deposit is required to reserve. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to check-in. Please note there is a $40 administration fee in the event of a cancellation. If you cancel your booking in writing 14 days or more before your arrival date, your deposit will be refunded minus the $40 administration fee. If you cancel less that 14 days before your arrival, no refund will be given.
