Covid-19 Policies

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Winderdome Resort stands ready to continue our commitment to help protect the health and safety of our guests, staff, and community at-large.

In order to maintain a safe and healthy environment, we have put a number of policies, recommendations, and procedures in place. These include:

Guest Considerations

  • If you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19, or live with someone that does, we ask that you stay home, get tested, and do not visit our resort.
  • In the case that symptoms become apparent before your reserved stay, Winderdome Resort will give you the opportunity to change or cancel your reservation with no charge for up to 24 hours before your stay.

Facility Considerations

  • Winderdome Resort provides hand sanitizer at multiple locations throughout the resort and in guest accommodations.
  • As part of elevating our robust cleaning procedures, Winderdome Resort has increased the frequency of sanitizing and disinfecting surfaces of high-touch, high-traffic areas and is using products that have been listed by Health Canada as likely to be effective and may be used against SARS-CoV-2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
  • Poolside facilities are maintained by a dedicated cleaning staff. These areas are monitored, sanitized on regular basis, and deep-cleaned.
  • The maximum number of guests permitted to use the pool facilities at any given time may be limited by resort staff. We ask that guests using our pool facilities do so in their private groups.
