Winderdome: A one of a kind getaway
Situated in beautiful Windermere, British Columbia, Winderdome Resort offers fully serviced, heated/air conditioned Geodesic Dome Tents nestled in a tranquil forest. Come and unwind in luxury. Open all year round! If you really want to treat yourself, rent our private pool located a short walk away – additional fees apply
Heated luxury pool
The pool is 40’ long and 16’ wide. It is a variable depth pool, 3’6” at the shallow end and 6’5” at the deep end. It is heated to a comfortable temperature. There are ledges around the entire pool and three sitting benches.
Add-ons
Turn your stay from fantastic to outstanding with a huge selection of add-ons. Need a massage or a private yoga class? We got you. Do you anticipate feeling a little hungry when you arrive? Imagine a delicious charcuterie and/or salted caramels waiting in your Dome for your arrival.

Exceptional from 2 well travelled touristsWhat can I say but wow and an incredible thank you to Deb who was an absolute gem and an ambassador for... Canadian hospitality. She truly went above and beyond welcoming us to her anazing abode, the Domes.She has thought about everything and has placed so much energy, love and passion in ensuring all guests have the best experience possible.We loved every moment with night gazing, listening to wildlife especially the mouse herds, hot spring visits and most of the time relaxing in and out of the dome.Everything is connected inside, temp, music, even the fire place is connected automatically which was great at night.The meat and cheese board was a lovely addition aling with the fudge. Everything was amazing about our stay here!We stayed 2 nights at the Cougar Dome: incredible views, attention to detail, beautiful decoration, hight... tech, loads of space inside and out in our private deck.The host Deb was incredible! Lovely and bubbly personality! This is a must do! From every tiny detail to the beautiful location, this was a 5 star stay! Deb has thought of every detail possible. The bedding... was amazing as was the ambiance created by the fairy lights and star machine. The outdoor amenities were great even though the weather didn't cooperate for us. If you will be in the Banff area, I highly recommend a trip to Windermere! Close access to Yoho National Park.read more

We rented Winderdome for our staff party and it was perfect for our staff and their families. There was lots to do for kids and adults between the... pool and lawn games. We had an amazing experience at Winderdome Resort for August long weekend. This was my 2nd trip to the domes. We booked all 3 domes to celebrate my... dad's 70th birthday. It was perfect for our group. Deb and David really went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. I was there for 4 nights. Most of the valley lost power at some point on Saturday afternoon until Monday, however we were unaffected by this since they have back up generators for the domes. The attention to detail and care that goes into this property is amazing. It was so nice to be tucked away and have space from the long weekend crowds to have some quality family time. I can't wait to plan my next visit!read more

We had such an amazing girls trip at Winderdome! We stayed in the Cougar Dome and had the best time. Deb was incredible throughout the whole... experience and honestly the best host we’ve ever had anywhere we’ve stayed.The dome had everything we needed, the amenities were amazing, and we loved hanging out in the net on the deck and seeing wildlife nearby. The pool was also such a fun addition to our trip.If you’re on the fence about booking, just do it. You won’t regret it, and definitely make sure to get some pool time too. Just got home and already miss it.The Cougar Dome was beautiful! Amazing views, every little comfort you could ask for, extremely clean, nature... everywhere and so many amenities.Deb greeted us with sweets and a birthday card, and she was so amazing. We had a great time in the Cougar Dome for our 20th anniversary - while the rainy weather limited our ability to enjoy the gorgeous deck, we did take... advantage of a few sunny breaks to enjoy the stunning view! Deb was exceptionally warm and welcoming upon arrival, and the dome was glamping to the extreme! Recent upgrades to the domes increase the overall comfort and coziness. Honestly, unless Deb can start controlling the weather, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. The ability to wander on the wooded property was lovely as well. Highly recommended!read more

First of all, having a place like Winderdome Resort in the valley is just phenomenal. It's the perfect venue for hosting small gatherings with... friends and family.Last weekend, as someone originally from Africa, I wanted to bring together the growing African community in the area for our very first gathering. Winderdome Resort did not disappoint. Even though it was a rainy day, everyone had an amazing time. The kids loved the swimming pool, while the adults relaxed around the cozy fireplace, enjoying great conversations and each other's company.The host was absolutely top-notch—friendly, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. They made sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to simply enjoy the day.By the end of the gathering, everyone agreed that this should become an annual tradition, and we're already looking forward to coming back next year.Thank you to the amazing host for helping make our first African community gathering such a memorable success. Our stay at the bear Dome was the best experience ever. If you are looking for a place to rejuvenate and relax from your hectic day to day life with... all the amenities you can imagine this is the place for you.Deb is the best host ever. She is attentive to your needs and will go above and beyond to help you in any way she can. The domes are close together, but it’s very private and so quiet. The views there are so beautiful and you can see the mountains right from the deck. If you come, you must rent the pool. It is another great way to relax and is much better than the beach.
